Rumors, let my count the ways

“Rumor has it”, by the title I bet you can figure out the topic of my blog, rumors, but not any rumors, celebrity rumors. I decided to pick this topic because, I found it every interesting. Lately as I went about my day to day life and I noticed that a lot of people and business make a living off celebrities and their mistakes, relationship, and problems. I have learned so much about celebrities, and not just the rumors itself, I learned that they are effected by all the magazines, television specials, and pictures of them portraying a bad image. I have also learned that other celebrities feed upon it; they like to see themselves on magazines with no underwear on to sell whatever they are selling at the time. Besides the aspects of celebrities I have learned to keep up with a blog and to research and find material to write about for my audience, in a manner that I hope they can understand and relate to.

At first my blog was really pro rumors and how entertaining they were to readers like me and how humorous I found the rumors to be. I made sure I put a spin on the rumor and put in “what if” scenarios about if the rumor is true or not. However, once I got in-depth with my blog, my opinion began to change about rumors and celebrity gossip. I started to feel some compassion for these celebrities who have to walk around with disguises so you can not recognize who they are. My blog turned into a sarcastic look on paparazzi and tmz.com that records, take pictures, and writes about celebrities.

I’m really happy with the path I have chosen with this blog, and feel there is a lot I can do to improve it, one of which could be my design of the layout. Although it is good to keep it simple I would like to add some more pictures and probably a song that relates to my blog. Second I think to improve my blog, I believe I need to start advertising on some of my other websites that I am on like MySpace or Facebook.com. I would also like to improve on my writing through out this process, I have found more and more to write about and I know that this will just continue.

On a larger scale, I feel that my blog is on of few that see celebrity gossip and rumors on a different page. Yes, it is ok to report them and talk about what happened after the show, movie, video shoot, whatever; but then you are just doing what the paparazzi, magazines, and television specials do, and then you’re like everyone else. I didn’t mean to be different but that is how I came out, in a way I have changed and have a better perspective on things that I wouldn’t have if I didn’t start this blog.

Rumor has it…..Sandra just might be continuing her blog, but I guess you guys are just going to have to stay tuned.

Blog Analysis

Rumor has it is my blog about celebrity rumors and gossip also I try to put a spin on what celebrities go through with the paparazzi. Although, I believe my blog is fine for what it is, my first one, but there are things that can be improved. Searching for inspiration for a blog entry, I found three other blogs that caught my eye a while ago, and now glad I can actually talk about them.

“Gossip Girls” is also about celebrity gossip of course, being my central theme, the layout and background is something I really admire. The black and pink colors grab the attention of the reader, besides the theme. Also, the blog is not done by one person; there is a group of girls maybe like three or four of them posting entries about what they want to talk about or what they found out that day. The blogs aren’t long, actually it is similar to magazines star sightings, where you have a picture of the celebrity and what they did that week or month. Also the blog has links to other related topics which I want to do as well to show support and different genres of writing.

“Star Muscle” that talks about celebrity news, gossip, and lies, it is a humorous look at some celebrity blunders and also a compassionate take on others. The blog makes an effort to take various issues and not just report them but put an opinion on them, because of the opinion spin, it shows the reader that the creator or creators want to take the blog to another level besides gossip, which I admire because that is an interested of mine.

“The Hollywood Gossip” is especially similar to my blog, the layout is somewhat the same style while the blog entries are also moderately alike as well. The entries don’t talk about regular celebrity gossip; they are more controversial and informative on what a reader didn’t know. For example, because I don’t watch television, I did not know that actor Rob Lowe was accused of sexual harassment by two nannies. Unlike all the other celebrity blogs out there, “The Hollywood Gossip” tries to post entries most blogs with the same theme would not even think of. I admire this blog because I feel that we are trying to do similar things by staying out of the norm.

Each blog is similar to each other in many ways. Even in design where they all took a color scheme and surround it with similar colors. They all have related links to there topic and try to keep their posts updated. On that note each blog has something I admire and I hope to take each of those things and build my blog into what I want it to be. Rumors and more

Rumors Rumors Rumors....that's a word everyone knows another word everyone knows is celebrity! And that is who we as people focus on. Why do we care so much? unfortunately, i still have no answer for you. I wish i did but, not this week!

We care about who they are talking too, how the speak, and lets not start on how they look.

If a celeb., for example Lindsay Lohan, looks a bit skinny, she must have an eating disorder or even on drugs! What about poor little Mary-Kate Olsen, who likes her privacy, and dresses like a college kid, they call her a bum with money!

If anything i feel so bad for these celebrities that can't be too fat or too skinny, they can't be normal and have a bad hair day. They can't have an accident and crash there car, because in reality we all do it.

On the flip side, some celebrities take our fascinations to their advantage. The want us to take pictures of them with no underwear on because they have a new movie coming out! Or worse start a romance with their co-star, with the movie.

Whatever it maybe, however they use us, it works because we continue to see them and they continue to be successful.

Rumors on Romance

OK guys, so now the big topic lately is romance with celebrities. Its funny how we want to know wats going on in their lives, but do we take the time to think about ours. We focused on Jay-z and Beyonce's low key wedding and wonder if 50 Cent and singer Cassie are together. And lets not talk about Rihanna and Chris Brown is with matching tattoos and they are not together.....sure!

The answer to my question is basically because its interesting. Sadly to admit it like u, i envy Beyonce and Rihanna, with all the money in the world but i also feel bad for every move they make is under a microscope. After all this, I actually still envy them...maybe not as much.

Bobby has done it again

Apparently Bobby Brown in his tell all book, BLAMES Janet Jackson for his alcoholism. He reportedly says that he only drunk beer before Janet, but after there break up he began to drink hard liquor more frequently.

If this is true, I really feel bad for Janet. I mean what was she thinking, granted both was pretty young (19 and 20). Now he is trying to pull from their relationship if it was even that serious.

Bobby Brown has enough issues in his life that it is no wonder he is blaming people in his past for his mistakes.

My word of advice for him is to really focus on what he wants to do next, because he is starting to become a celebrity that we don't want to here from!

Jay and B are making my month

Beyonce and Jay-Z appear to be crazy in love with each other, crazy enough to even get married.
The "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" super music couple has reportedly obtained a marriage license in Scarsdale Village, N.Y., according to People.
A source told People the couple obtained the license, which is valid for two months, on Tuesday morning.
Patience appears to have paid off for Beyonce, who told InStyle magazine in December 2006, "You can't rush a man into anything – whether it's a relationship, marriage or having children."
Beyonce, 26, has been dating Jay-Z, 38, since 2002.

I'm so happy about this recent rumor! Ihave been pulling this couple since 2002. I feel like I am apart of the reletionship, the way the public plays out their life. All I can say is CONGRATS!! - If this is true, but I guess we will jus have to wait and see.

Naomi strikes again

Naomi Campbell was released on bail Friday after a spat with a police officer at Heathrow Airport’s troubled new Terminal 5, where one of her bags was lost.
Campbell, 37, left the airport police station just after midnight. London’s Metropolitan Police said she was released pending further inquiries and told to report to a police station in late May.
The London-born supermodel was arrested late Thursday on suspicion of assaulting an officer after police were called to a disturbance at the airport. Since Terminal 5 opened last week, more than 28,000 bags have been separated from their owners.

Witnesses said Campbell was aboard a British Airways plane due to depart for Los Angeles when she became involved in a dispute because one of her bags had been lost. During the dispute, Campbell allegedly spit on the officer.
Campbell’s spokeswoman, Annabel Fox, said Campbell was traveling to the U.S. to attend a memorial service and had boarded the plane when she was told one of her two checked bags was missing.
British Airways “decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight and then called the police to forcibly eject her,” Fox said.
Campbell has a history of assaulting assistants and employees.
In 2000, she pleaded guilty in Toronto to an assault charge for beating an assistant while making a film in 1998. Under an agreement with prosecutors, Campbell expressed remorse and was released without punishment or a criminal record.
In January 2007, Campbell pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault for throwing her cell phone at her maid in a dispute over a missing pair of jeans. She was ordered to do community service and attend a two-day anger-management program.

So this isn't a rumor, the real fact is Naomi's anger problem. Last time she was in the spotlight was when she attacked her personal assistant. I'm speaking with experience with anger issues, anger mangement should definately be her probation sentence; because celebrities don't go to jail anymore. Who would we talk about?

Love Triangle?

Owen Wilson is caught in a love triangle. The "Wedding Crasher" star is reportedly having a hard time choosing over his current co-star Jennifer Aniston and his former flame Kate Hudson.
Wilson, 39, has apparently fallen for the former "Friends" star while filming their movie "Marley and Me" in Miami. However, he is also rumored to be rekindling his old romance with his "You, Me and Dupree" co-star.
Sources say that Hudson wasn't disturbed at first with the professional pairing between the actor and Aniston but she became concerned when she heard about the budding romance.
An insider says, "When Kate heard that Owen was going to work with Jen, she wasn't worried, because she thought Jen was older and not Owen's type."
"But once Owen started raving to Kate about Jen, saying how cool and pretty she is and how much he liked working with her, Kate got worried."
"Marley and Me" is Wilson's first movie after his attempted suicide episode in August last year.

If this rumor is true than celebs. are jus. falling in to the footsteps of many other co-stars. For example Brad and Angelina and Ben Afflack and the too Jennifers.

A Family is not what most celebrities get. Most of them end in bitter divorce, these lyrics from the song "Family Portrait." It actually shows things from a child's viewpoint, It makes you think twice about what you will do or what you will read in the papers the next day, or even if you care.

A scandal for all scandals

OK so everyone is talking about the Governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer, who just found himself in a lot of trouble for the pass two weeks. Last month the governor was caught on a wire tap arranging for some hookers or prostitutes to meet with him. He has been reported to have spent 80,000 dollars going back 10 years.

Like many of us are disappointed in these findings, including presidential candidate Hilary Clinton, who once called him "Mr. Clean" and thought of him as presidential material. The Minor leader gave him 24 to 48 hours to resign or face impeachment.

The father of three stepped down Wednesday, March 12, 2008 with his wife of 20 years by his side.
He hasn't been faced with federal charges yet, but I'm sure he will. Many New Yorkers are calling the FORMER governor a hypocrite by cutting down crime and behind closes doors handling what he refers as his "private matters."

The worst part in the matter is his family, although they are staying by hisside for now, if and when he is charged will they be there. This is just another tale of being in the public eye,your never safe with your "private matters!"

American Suicide?

First season "American Idol" contestant Nikki McKibbin is blasting reports she attempted suicide -- insisting she broke her foot and had a bad reaction to pain medication. "Nikki did not attempt suicide nor does she have any plans on doing so!" her rep told "Extra."

Star magazine reported last week that Nikki was undergoing a psychiatric evaluation after trying to take her own life. Nikki’s reasoning, according to the report, was to live with her recently deceased mother “in heaven,” a tale that her rep also denies. “Nikki was indeed close to her mom, we were all extremely affected by her loss, however, Nikki loves life and understands how important it is, not only to her family and friends but to herself as well.”

I actually don't know what to think about this rumor. Suicide is very serious and if she says she wasn't trying to do it, then I guess she wasn't. Nikki Mckibbin hasn't been seen since American Idol andshe lost so......i guess we will only know what she tells us.http://extratv.warnerbros.com/

Why Rumors

Why start a rumor? A rumor is information true or false passed around by word of mouth. Back to the question, so why start one? That is a question that really can't be answered fully, mainly because there are many reasons to start one. The reasons varies from jealousy, anger, or fun.

So why are we so focused on celebrity rumors? Mainly because celebrities are everywhere. They could be in jail, pregnant, missing, fighting, etc. They are so controversial that it is so easy to believe whatever you hear.

Celebrities shouldn't be upset for the simple fact that you chose to be in the business and with pleasure comes pain,with affect comes side- affect. With saying that, that's not a reason to begin a rumor about a celebrity. When non-celebs look at the slip ups of celebs, we tend to feed on it because it shows how not perfect they are, and it makes us feel better.

Rumors do hurt a celebrities emotional. They have sued magazines even right songs about how rumors hurt. For example Lindsey Lohan's first single "Rumors" and Britney Spear's current single "Piece of me." This songs just speak about how much they are talked about but for good reasons.

The battle between the rumor mill and celebrities will never end as long as a celebrity is in the public eye.

Even though Britney Spears is in the hospital getting psychiatric treatment, she’s still tangled up in a web of controversy. The singer’s mom Lynne has requested and been granted a restraining order against her daughter’s friend Sam Lutfi, claiming that he drugged and verbally abused the troubled singer.

Lynne also alleged that Lutfi verbally abused her daugher: “Sam had told Britney that she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about Adnan Ghalib, her current boyfriend, than she cares about her kids, and that she does not deserve the kids."

If this is true, it would explain alot of things that has been going on lately with her, with all the controversy, with her mental problems, custody issues and now this. Things have not een going well for the singer. I don't believe things will go right in her life until she stays in the hospital.

This is just another story to add on the pop stars bio. Or maybe E- entertainment will update her true hollywood story.

Obama Rumor

Now everyone knows about the 2008 presidential candidate Barack Obama. He has been turning head since 2006, and as he runs against Hilary Clinton for the Democratic seat for the election. In recent weeks rumors about Obama have come to light through 4 e-mails.

They state that Obama is a muslim, another says that he sworn in to be senator with the Koran, the third says that he refuses to put his hand over his heart to say the Pledge of Allegiance, and the last states that his middle name is Mohammed.

I think it's so funny that it matters if your Muslim or not and if you sworn on a Koran and what the hell your middle name is. It shouldn't at all, and if the American people believe there is a problem with that, maybe the American people are not ready for an actually good President. It's amazing how some people believe that "We have come so far from 200 years ago."

Well, it is a good think that all 4 of these rumors are false. It's bad enough he has to fight the slander Hilary Clinton puts on with boxing gloves saying, "To come out and fight!" But now he has to deal with whatever fake rumors other parties and throwing at him.

To settle the rumors again, he is a Christian and their is pictures of him with his hand over his heart saying the Pledge of Allegiance, also his middle name is Hussein.

Jay-z and Rihanna...No! Jay-z and Beyonce'

Rapper/Hip-hop mogal Jay-z and artist Rihanna, for a while now, have been rumored to have a relationship besides work- she is on his label. Now after that awkward moment at the grammys last sunday,where she tried to pull him on stage after winning best collaboration for "Umberlla" by holding his hand and he shaking it away. Then she lifted her hands up as if to ask,"What's wrong?"

She has said time and time again that she doesn't have no connection to Jay besides work, and after she found out about the rumors she felt really weird around him,and it was him that said to just ignore it.

The second part of this rumor is saying that it is affecting long-time girlfriend singer Beyonce' Knowles. The pair have been together for over 6 years and have lasted worst rumors stating that he cheated and had a baby with former t.v. personality Free, of 106 and park.

Rumors are going around saying that at a NBA Nets game, which the rapper owns, she got upset when he got a phone call from her and talked for 15 minutes. The rumor goes on saying that, Beyonce' truned around and asked "Why do you still talk to her?" and stormed out of the Nets area.

To be honest, I really don't believe this Rihanna and Jay-z rumor. I am a fan of all three and I don't think Jay-z is that stupid to mess up a potential wife in what he has with Beyonce'. I think people just ran with that Rihanna is 19 maybe 20 years old and Jay-z is going on in his late 30's. This is just an artist and her mentor trying to better both their careers by making music not babies.

A rumor gone bad

Jessica Simpson is fighting mad about an OK! magazine article about her relationship with Tony Romo -- and she's called in the dogs -- aka, her lawyers.

Jessica is pissed over an article titled "Jessica Dumped!" that appeared in the February 4 issue of the mag. The article claims Tony dumped Jessica after his team was eliminated from the NFL playoffs. Simpson's attorneys say the article is "utterly false" and "is based on nothing more than rumor, gossip and innuendo." The article also claims Jessica's sister Ashlee has attempted to "distance herself" from her sis. The lawyers say that's B.S. too.Simpson's lawyers have sent a letter to OK!'s Editor-in-Chief, Sarah Ivens, claiming OK!'s article is bogus, adding that Jess and Tony are still together and that Ashlee and Jessica remain close. The attorneys say the article reflects a "smear campaign" and has subjected Simpson to "public contempt, ridicule, aversion or disgrace." The lawyers want OK! to "immediately publish a prominent and unambiguous" retraction.

My question to Jessica, is this really that serious? Everyone knows that magazines based on Celebs. is mostly not true. All that matters is that you and Tony are fine and still going strong. So what if Cowboy fans think your the "yoko-ono" of football- He doesn't.

I could understand if that jeapardizing your relationship but it's not, and frankly this is normal for ppl to be talking about you two, it's not a celebrity thing! Also with Ashlee I don't care and I'm sure no one else does either- sisters always fight it's normal, OK! probably got good facts on that.

Is E-40 is DEAD?

Various rumors began to circulate this weekend that the rapper had died from causes ranging from a driveby shooting to "ghostriding" in his car. After the media began to circulate the rumor and the rapper began to receive urgent calls, a statement was released to E-40s Myspace page and to SOHH.com.

So the answer to my title question is, no. E-40, the "huge" rapper (in size not record sales), is alive and well. He was actually in Las Vegas during the NBA All- Star weekend.

Rumors like this makes me wonder who really started it. He isn't the first to have a death rumor and by far won't be the last, but couldn't they be more realistic about his death? He has no "beef" that I know, so why would it be a drive by? Honestly, it could have been believeable if it was a heartattack!

I'm not even trying to be mean. I feel bad for him because he thinks he has actually made it to the point that people will create rumors of him. And it's probably his "people" who started it, i wouldn't be surprised if his new album/single comes out in two weeks!

I Hear Britney is Pregnant

Well In-Touch magazine says Britney's pregnant! Well their is a good and bad to this situation. 1st off, It's NOT her dead beat ex- husband's baby. Howvever, Britney Spears should not be carrying a baby at this time in her life, mainly because other rumors of being bi-polar has surfaced.
Sometimes I wish I could be in her head telling her, "Britney, its cold outside, you should definately put some panties on!" Or "Hey Brit, lets not shave our head today!"
Now because of her actions, she doesn't even have custody of her other two children, so what makes her think any court in America would let her keep this one, if this rumor is true. I don't even think her ex- husband, Kevin Federline, should have custody, I think he got some screws loose too. In fact, that whole family needs therapy, just from what i have seen and read.
The luckiest person in this whole mater is Justin Timberlake, for getting out when he could!
I feel the worst for those children, they can't see mommy because mommy has issues and mommy is in denial about them.
In my opinion, I really think she needs help. If she doesn't want to do it for her career, why not her children. If Britney is pregnant, good luck to her and the rest of her trainwrecks!

I Saw Juno

Actually this is not a rumor at all, in fact it's such a fact! I saw Juno, the movie everyone is talking about, last week and I liked it. It's about this high school teenage, who gets pregnant by her friend. Instead of an abortion, she decides to give it up for adoption.
The movie has a spin to it, with the main character's humor about her mistake, but also as she gets close (in a way too close) to the husband of the married couple,she learns that he doesn't even want a child, which shows a very real situation that happens often in adoption cases.
Her friend, the father, doesn't even look like he helped her in the process! She is such a dominating force around him that he just fades away....so there is no wonder that it was her idea to have sex in the first place.
Unforunately, the person I went to see it with didn't have the same opinions about the movie. He really fell asleep next to me! It got so bad i was pushing him every ten minutes to STOP the snoring. When it was over i turned to him asked if he liked it, he said "Not worth paying for. That was straight out of lifetime."I will admit it, I was hurt, I really wanted to like it so I could talk to him about it. I guess it was just another "chick flick" to him!
I had a choice to see First Sunday, but I guess I'll catch that on dvd!
